Emergency Fair

If you weren’t able to come before, this article from last year talks about the Emergency Fair, and features my beautiful 9 month maternity picture all over it! You can also read my intelligent quotes, and my attempt at sounding educated in the preparedness department.

When my friend asked if she could come take a picture of my food storage, I didn’t realize she was already at my doorstep :) I rolled out of bed, put the only pants on that fit, and then somehow let her talk me into being photographed. She promised it would be a good picture in black and white, but as you can tell, we are no longer friends – j/k. At least she recommended that I move my bras out-of-the-way!

Since they haven’t found anyone else to do the alternative cooking booth (because they’re all in hiding) I get to help out with the emergency fair again! I really do have fun and appreciate the opportunity,  it gives me a chance to dust off all my cooking gadgets and play with fire! So whatever is on your schedule for next Saturday, cross it off, and come play with fire too!

There will be lots of other booths with great information on getting you prepared, so come take their handouts, eat their samples, and pretend to care! Make sure to come hang out at the alternative cooking booth (aka cool booth), and take as long as you need learning everything you can!!! Who knows, maybe next year you will be my replacement ;)
