My Favorite Things!!!
Here are some of my very favorite discoveries I’ve made this year that have literally changed my life and the way I do things.
After you check them out, enter for your chance to win them all!
1. Bucket
I know you are probably already thinking this is the lamest giveaway ever, but seriously, buckets are one of my VERY FAVORITE things! I just couldn’t help it! You can read all about my obsession and more about what to do with them here. You don’t have to use them just for food! You can also use them to store cat food, cleaning supplies, or even turn it into an emergency toilet!
2. Gamma Lid
These are the screw-on lids that keep all the critters out of your food in the pantry. They make getting to the contents of your bucket much easier than trying to pry the lid off each time! To learn more about how I use these, you can read more on my bucket post!
3. Mylar Bag
This one may seem super boring too, but these have made a huge difference in how I store food. If you plan on storing food long-term, these are a must. They help add that extra layer of protection making sure your food won’t kill you when you’re ready to eat it!
4. Essential Oil (doTerra On Guard)
Love, Love, Love my essential oils. There is still a lot I have to learn, but I’ve recently started to makeover my medicine cabinet with these. On Guard is especially helpful during this season where germs are threatening to ruin any fun you have planned!
5. Diva Cup
Life changing! No longer do I dread that time of the month! I know some of you are still a little unsure about using a menstrual cup, but I think every woman should at least know there’s an alternative to the pad & tampon awfulness! And if my instructions aren’t detailed enough, just let me know, I’ll come over and help you ;)
6. Rocket Stove
This is just one of the coolest things ever; I love cooking with mine. Even the kids will try and be sneaky and attempt to burn-up our backyard trying to cook with it. These are super easy to make with just a few scraps! The best part is you can cook an entire meal with just a few twigs!
7. $25 Amazon Giftcard
And for all those things you just can’t find in the store, Amazon seems to have it all! You can use this to buy something that Santa doesn’t bring you, or get something else from my favorites list you’ve been wanting!
Enter to Win Them All…
I have to admit, this giveaway isn’t just for anyone – It’s for those of you who put up with me day in and day out ;)

I am just starting so I pretty much need everything! So glad to have found so many that blazed the path before me….I will learn from all of you, Thank You!
Awesome! I’m trying to sway my hubby towards basic preparation. Your blog has great information. :)
And BTW I’m finally learning the uses of essential oils and would love to delve a little more into it (whether I win the giveaway or not). :)
What do I like the most? My gun safe running over….
The one thing I would really love to have is a Leatherman multitool. Maybe Santa will bring it. Thanks for the opportunity to win this awesome prize package. Good luck everyone.
Great list, some of these I do not have.
My 10 year old grandson ask for survival/prep supplies for Christmas
I really want my own firearm. I’ve learned to shoot in the past year, and have had a bow for a while, but I think owning and knowing how to use a firearm is essential is disaster preparation.
I would most like to have the On Guard essential oil. I am looking for a local source for duTerra products.
I have those inexpensive microfiber shop towels that are sold at Sam’s. They are quick drying and I have the blue ones to use as towels for camping.
I want to get a family water filter. Thanks!
I soooo want to win! Your site has helped me tremendously.
Hubby and I have buckets and mylar bags. I like the gamma seals and want to get some of those. I’m also interested in the On Guard oil. Thanks for doing this awesome giveaway! Would be a great way to end the year. :D
So excited to have found your blog!
I really want a water filtration system.
I would like to have a rocket stove!
My husband and I have been small scale preppers for the past year. We are now taking it a lot more seriously since we have 2 small kids. I love your site and am learning so much! Thank you!!!!
I would love the bucket, Mylar bag or amazon gift card!!
I would flip for any of those prizes (especially that rocket stove!) but my newest prepper toy is a family pack of Sawyer Mini Water Filtration Straws! They’re each able to filter 100,000 gallons of water removing 99.99999% of bacteria and protozoa!
Wow! Another great giveaway! My favorite prep this year has been my pressure canner.
22 ammo tops our list of what to buy! It’ is hardly ever in stock anywhere and it is super frustrating!
My solar panels was my best preparedness thing I have but I have been wanting the Diva cup and essential oils. Thanks for hosting!
I already have my 5 gal food grade buckets… of course I am still adding to those :) I really want to get the mylar bags for longer storage. I am saving up for a wheat mill.
Awesome ideas!
I love this giveaway thank you! I agree with you that women should know there are alternatives out there to tampons and pads. I also have recently found the diva cup :) I started with the Instead Softcup but it was not for me. I also am new to essential oils and learning much. This giveaway is AWESOME!!!!
I need pretty much everything.
We are stocking up on guns and ammo! I have started couponing this year so we also have a good stock of shampoo conditioners, deodorants, mouthwashes, feminine products, and razors, ect.
We want to get a small trailer to store all our emergency supplies in so if we need to bug out all we have to do is attach it to the truck.
We are pretty new and still have a lot to do, but I really want to get supplies to help store food for our family.
I have learned so much by reading your posts. I have yet to implement them all but I’m working on it.
Love this giveaway! I have buckets and gamma lids, but of course, could always use more. I’m just starting my journey into essential oils, very exciting. The Diva Cup…..hmmm, I’m not against it, just fearful of it not working. :/ That would NOT be good! Anyways, love your blog, great info and instruction. :)
I have recently read your blog post about the Diva Cups. I can’t wait to try one of these. Most importantly I want one for my mom. I think she could really benefit from something like this. She has issues and one of these could really help. Thank you for the info!
I’ve been wanting to make our own rocket stove, but I don’t yet have a way to cut the metal. Winning one would be awesome! Also, I’ve heard great reviews about the diva cup and have been considering getting one. I think my favorite survival items I have are manually operated kitchen appliances. You get the job done and get a little workout, even if the power’s off!
The preparedness item I am wanting most right now is a food saver vaccum sealer.
Not a lame giveaway. I can use everyone of these items. Thanks.
I really want a two way ham radio.
I would really love to win a rocket stove! I also want to get a fire arm. I love your blog, THANK YOU for all the work that you do to get so much information out to me.
I need everything but the Diva cup…. too old for that anymore LOL I would pass it to someone who would need it though.
Thanks for the chance to win!!
What a treasure trove. Some to keep and some to share. Thanks for the opportunity.
The item’s I already have are a couple of buckets and lids. What I really want is the rocket stove, Mylar bags and essential oils. I recently purchased peppermint essential oil and I am in love!! I can’t wait to try others. Thanks for this opportunity.
I like the rocket stove the most, we dont have the right tools to make one
I want it all!!!
Having your blog and pinterest boards to use as a reference to be aware, organized and prepared for what life puts on your path has been invaluable. I think the one thing I need is more controllable storage.
I love your blog and I like you on Face Book. Your recommendations and ideas are great. Even for old folks like me, I thought I knew there was a lot to know but you have shown me there is always more to learn in the preparedness area. And for money saving thoughts. So glad I ‘Happened by” your blog one day. Thank you and good luck for your new year.
Merry Christmas.
PS I have used one Gamma lid, those things are neater than pockets on purses. I asked for several for Christmas. :)
I would really like the rocket stove to add to my preps.
I would love the rocket stove! Too clumsy to make my own :)
Great giveaway! I also have a thing for buckets! I buy kitty litter in the bucket just so I can use it for other things. LOL.
Just got myself a Lifestraw!
a lifestraw. hoping it gets here soon
You can never have enough mylar!
Love this list :) Something I want more of is solar panels and solar chargers!
One of my favorite items that I have is my solar oven! I love that thing and I know in time of need it will be really useful!
I have a Diva Cup and LOVE it!!! I’ll never go back to pads or tampons!
Just found you. I would like a new larger BOB empty is ok.
I am looking for simple, easily understood, directions for building my own solar panels. I need to cut back on the use of electricity and I’ve always been interested in solar. I’ve had portable solar panels for my RV for years and they work great to keep my batteries charged on long camping trips.
I’d love the fruit leather insert for my Dehydrator
i want the diva cup.
The Rocket Stove – loving that!
I would love the stove
I want the volcano stove.
The rocket stove looks very cool. What an exciting giveaway.

Great favorites list! Can use everything but #5 — I’m done with that part of my life! Love, love love the Rocket stove and cannot be without those great buckets. So many good uses for those! Thanks for the opportunity!
I really want the amazon gift card! I got EVERYTHING from either amazon of target! lol
I’d love to win the giveaway. The essential oils are at the top of my list.
Awesome giveaway, fingers crossed.
I would love to have a wood stove.
I want the Diva Cup for DW! That would relieve me of such a stress!! =P
One preparedness item I really want would be a canning set-up. I am currently learning to can, and had to borrow my mother’s canning supplies to do so. It would be nice to have my own, now that I am finally learning how to do it.
I love my Diva cup!
Very excited about the Rocket Stove.
What time does Santa arrive?
What a wonderful prize package! I would love to win!

Rocket stove
I would love to get the diva cup. That sounds way more awesome than the traditional methods. I use my essential oils in my homemade body scrubs and in my homemade toothpastes. I’m still trying to figure out if I can find the right dose to put into my homemade dishwasher mix.
Merry Christmas!!!
I would like to get some new boots.
This is fantastic!!
I would absolutely LOVE a rocket stove!
I’m so excited about all there is to learn here!
A portable water filter is something on my need list.
Thank you to everyone that participated!!! Congrats to Minu U. for being the lucky winner!
